At Pearl’s Monterey Senior Care, we pride ourselves on being compassionate, reliable caregivers for seniors.
We understand the aging process and the challenges many will face. Pearl’s Monterey Senior Care provides in home senior care solutions that assist families, seniors, disabled persons, and anyone in need of care to live comfortably in their own home. We do this by providing a combination of senior companion care, light housekeeping, in home personal care, and specialized services delivered by caregivers who have a passion for helping others.
Pearl’s is setting a new standard for what it means to be reliable, compassionate caregivers for seniors in Monterey County and other nearby communities. We want to make sure that our clients can maintain their quality of life, remain safe while in their homes, and, most importantly, live an independent life.

We are licensed, bonded and insured
With a team of highly trained and experienced caregivers for seniors, we are able to provide top notch, reliable and affordable care. Family members take great comfort in knowing that each of our caregivers are professionally screened and are put through extensive background checks. Every caregiver at Pearl’s Monterey In Home Senior Care is bonded, insured, trained, and supervised. Our caregivers are also covered by Workers’ Compensation insurance which provides an added layer of protection for both our clients and their families.
All our caregivers need to meet the following requirements prior to being hired:
- State and federal background checks
- 2-step tuberculosis test that shows there’s no active tuberculosis
- Physical examination showing caregiver is free of communicable diseases and is able to care for a client
- DMV report
- 16 hours of training, which includes:
- – CPR/ First Aid Certification
- – 10 hours of basic caregiving training
- – 4 hours of orientation
- – 8 yearly hours of continuing education training to ensure the highest levels of care are provided
